I was gone from home for so long that last night I woke up in the middle of the night, and I had no clue where I was! That's bad.
My grandmother is better. She is not out of the woods yet, but she is better. That makes me feel good. I don't want to go into detail, but I'm home, if that's any indication.
I realized how stupid some people of the human race are. I don't even know if they are part of the human race. I had a few dealings in the past 3 weeks that made me wish I a license to kill. That's how bad these people were. Idiots I guess. Makes my blood boil sometimes. With my ancestry, most people wouldn't want me to get mad.
Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning. That's what I've been doing since I got home. Josh neglected some cleaning, and I can't stand it. I took 3+ trashbags out, if that's any indication!
Rice Bowls. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. They are good. There is only 1 that I can eat. It's not really a bad deal. They are $3 here, and one fills me up nicely. Josh likes them too. He doesn't like the noodle bowls though. Go Uncle Ben!!! Someone should have thought of them sooner. So many of the other microwave rice meals taste bad, but these don't!
I try not to take medicine now. My body has built up such a tolerance that I need a lot before anything happens. That is not good. I am learning "alternate" methods of dealing with the pain. Generally it involves a cup of hot chocolate, "Swiss Miss" usually. For some reason, a cup of hot chocolate always helps. Even the thought of it helps. Strange.
Skittles was a bit of a stinker while I was away. She must have been nervous or something, because she chewed up a ton of stuff. She needs me around I guess.
I think I shall go. My rice bowl has finished heating up. Yummy.!
Yeah, Yeah, I know I'm supposed to update it more frequently. There has been an emergency, and I am currently away from home, and busy everyday. There has been a serious emergency in the family, and that is why I have not updated. I will update when I return home, which shall be soon. Thank you for understanding!
Ok, I'm going to try and start updating more frequently now.
I leave for the airport in about 6 hours. Josh has opted to not sleep until he drops me off, and then sleep the entire day through. I have to be at the airport at 5am. It should be interesting. I am slightly concerned about this trip. I worry about my grandmother. I do want her to get better, but I worry she won't take care of her health. I think the whole family worries about this. I may get visited before I leave by my mother, sister-in-law and nieces. I would very much like to bring Britt back with me, but school there starts the first few days in August. That leaves very little time here. Shay would never stay that long with me. Wishful thinking I guess! It would be nice to have the little ones visit for a while. It would be a good change of pace.
Laundry. Did you ever know how easily you can have a lot of it? I found myself doing 9 loads of laundry! That's crazy. I washed sheets, blankets, clothes, towels, everything, and it was 9 loads! I've just never done that many loads of laundry! They weren't half loads either, they were full blown loads of laundry!
I think the cat has supersonic hearing. I can grab the milk container out of the refridgerator and she can hear me from the other room, with the door almost completely closed. How???? It's even worse when she sees the orange juice container that resembles the milk container (in the light block container) She goes nuts, because I don't give her any. I have to let her sniff it to get her off my case.
I have some new pictures of the cat. Rather they are old pictures that I just now developed. One of the rolls had the cat climbing the brick wall. Now we have proof that cats can climb walls! So much for non believers.
On some of the other sites I maintain I seem to be getting a lot of visitors from the Scandanavian countries, and US Government workers. Worries me about how much work people really do!
I think I shall go check the logs now! Good Luck Everyone! I hope to keep a daily diary of my trip while I am gone. It shall keep me busy while in the hospital! Buh-Bye
I'm tired. So, I must be going. Goodnight, and farewell. I must get up in 1 hour and 6 minutes. I need every last minute I can get!!
Sheesh, I haven't updated this thing is so long, you'd wonder if I died or something. Nope, quite the contrary. I'm alive and kicking. I've been busy busy busy. I've been working on websites out the wazoo. It's been exciting, and stressful at the same time.
I was very busy up until the last few days of April with the Linux Business show. I was getting about 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night! That was on a good night. There were so many things that needed to be done. So many last minute changes and such that I thought I would die! It went well. We survived and we are happy about that. Yeah!
I have been busy. I shall not explain it all here, because I'll cause massive hand cramps. The gist of it all is, Stress Stinks! I have been very stressed, even after I quit my job. I have felt like I have to cater to everyone else except myself. I think Josh has begun to feel this way too. We both need vacations, from everything. We are hoping to take one together soon. I will be leaving for my grandparent's in less than a week. My grandmother has been sick lately, and is in the hospital now. I am hoping that my visit will cheer her up, and give her some positive thoughts.
Skittles the cat is becoming quite the handful! She is becoming a high maintenance cat! She always wants to eat, she always wants to play, she always wants to be the center of attention! She's our "first born" So I guess we can't blame her! She's soo cute anyways. It's hard to say no to her!
Walter Mathau died. He was 79. He hadn't yet made it to his 80th birthday. He was one of those few older actors that not only acted great, but wasn't a complete jerk in real life. There are too many older actors that feel the world owes them. Thankfully, he wasn't one of them! I will definately miss him and his work.
I don't know if it's always been like this, but recently there seem to be a good number of either earthquakes, floods, or tragedies that occur in different parts of the world, but in similar circumstances, within weeks of each other. It's just becoming all too... familiar??
