Thirty
In honor of my thirtieth birthday, I present thirty random things about me you may or may not have known.
- I have attended four universities.
- I have very few female friends.
- My niece and I have extremely similar thumb prints.
- I caused my cat to have fans.
- I think like my father.
- I have been a vegetarian for nineteen years.
- I make lists.
- I have my mother’s creativity.
- I didn’t walk at my high school graduation.
- I am the baby of the family.
- I was accepted to a university that I never applied to.
- I have kept an online journal of one sort or another since 1995.
- I used to take my cat for walks on a leash.
- I like baking apple pies, but I don’t like to eat them.
- I learned how to properly fold fitted sheets five years ago.
- I have a favorite spoon.
- I was fourteen when I realized not all homes had central air conditioning.
- I remember conversations easily.
- My first piece of certified mail was from George Stephanopoulos.
- I love black and white movies.
- My father named me.
- I had the chicken pox at age 22.
- I will eat onion chutney on almost anything.
- I am a gadget geek.
- All of my official job titles have had the word “Web” in them.
- I had an Inspector Gadget doll as a child.
- People thought I was gay in high school because I had gay friends.
- I am directly related to at least one president.
- My dream car is a fuel efficient version of Mr. Bean’s Mini.
- I have the first letter Josh ever snail-mailed me.

LOL. Thanks. It’s all to do with the pockets you know.
Take the left and right end of the sheet (short side), match and tuck the inside seams together. Repeat at the other end. Then tuck the two outside-to-outside seams together. Finish it off by straightening and folding as necessary.

OK, I have to ask. How do yo know that you and your niece have similar thumbprints?

She was learning about thumb prints in school and I got to be the helpful aunt who donated a thumb print. Her print is extremely similar to mine, but in reverse. It is quite creepy.
