Tomorrow she’s three
Tomorrow my little munchkin turns three. Little Shalyn is getting big. She said she’s a big girl. I believe her. I am not saying the following because I am their aunt, I am saying it because it’s true. My nieces and nephew are very intelligent. They absorb knowledge like nobody’s business. Not just facts, but lessons. Brittany was old enough to comprehend what was going on during the whole Clinton/Monica ordeal. Shalyn is just a little mindfull of smarts. AJ is delightfully intelligent and he’s not even a year old! I’m glad they are smart. I’m glad they like to know things. I’m also glad that they still like to be kids. That’s very important. They don’t need to be little adults. There isn’t much fun in that.
Today, my RAM arrived for my laptop. Sweet. It’s so nice now. I was quite enjoying it. I watched Sleepy Hollow. Skittles somehow managed to mute my laptop during the last 10 minutes of the movie. Needless to say I was a little upset with her.
I just fed Skittles and she decided to have a little accident. No, not that kind, but she ran head on into the cabinet door and it made a really loud noise. I’m going to have to watch her, just to be safe. I know that had to hurt. I hit my head on the door yesterday and I can still feel it. I also know I have a pretty nasty bruise, but thankfully it’s hidden by my hair.
