Bandwagon

I jumped on the bandwagon and knitted a dishcloth. The pattern in the Mason Dixon book is the same as the one found on the yarn band, which is the same as the one found here. It’s a little practice with the slip stitch too. Eventually I will take a picture of it, but I am shipping off my camera for repair. Something is wrong with the flash and it is causing it to eat the life out of my batteries.

I haven’t bought the book yet. I need to see how difficult this semester will be before I decide on how much knitting I will get done. You can get the moderne log cabin blanket and moderne baby blanket patterns (pdf link) from amazon.com for free.

I’ll probably make another dishcloth just to use up the rest of these two skeins. They’re just sitting in a ziploc on the floor next to my desk. They look so bored.

Now for more exciting news. I finally went and bought the pattern for the silk ribbed lace corset by Anne Modesitt. I’ve loved that pattern for years, but always thought it wouldn’t look right on me. I figure it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
