I have a ton of merino sock yarn that I found at a thrift store. I’ve been thinking about doing socks for a long time but I didn’t want to waste nice yarn on my first victim, I mean sock. So I bought some cheapo varigated acrylic yarn. If I mess up, it’s ok.

Well, tonight I thought I would give my it a go. Doh! All of my DPNs are either too small or two big. I thought it would be interesting to go ahead and try it on some of the smaller needles but boy was I wrong. My wrists were already hurting and that just made it worse.

So now I have to go out tomorrow and try to find some needles that are the right size.
