This was my second project. A Gryffindor inspired scarf for my niece. I had originally planned on doing it without a pattern, but I found a free pattern from Red Heart while waiting in line at the craft store.

Ideally it should have been made out of wool, but it is just too hot where my niece lives to have a scarf made of wool.

It is measures about six inches wide and about five and a half feet long.

Materials used:
US Size 8 Knitting Needles (the instructions call for 10 1/2)
Red Heart “Super Saver” brand yarn
No. 376 Burgundy
No. 321 Gold

This was my first full scale project.

It was made using Lion Brand Homespun Yarn Baroque 322 (a lovely purple blend).

It is about six inches wide and about four feet long.
