Pirate Purse (Skull and Bones camera bag)

Skull camera case

Boredom and watching Pirates of the Caribbean one too many times led me to make a “Pirate Purse” as my nephew has dubbed it. It’s really a camera/everything else case.

I just knitted a rather long rectangle wide enough to fit around my camera and stitched up the sides and added a cord I already had to the top.

On the top flap it actually has a button hole. I haven’t found a button that I like yet, so I went cliche and used a giant safety pin as the button. It works and doesn’t look too bad, but I do want to do something different.

Materials used:
US Size 4 Knitting Needles
Red Heart “Super Saver” brand yarn in black and white
