I am pretty sure I am slowly losing my mind. Either that or the world is going to crap. Could be either. Right?

Kids. Let me tell you a truth. People grow up but they don’t really mature. Sorry.

In other news, I am still looking for a drupal webinar if anyone knows of any. I am have to show a variety of cms so people can pick them apart until they find something that might work.

It appears that I am terrible at this. Work is draining as are the home improvement endeavours. Josh and I have been repairing the large garden shed. It was in a bad state. We just have new doors and painting to go.

I am going to start expanding my knowledge soon. I don’t want to get stale so wish me luck. I am going to need it. Eeek.

I’ve noticed a trend in myself and even the blogosphere (yes, I used that world). As facebook and twitter have become more mainstream, blogging has taken a back seat. It is a lot easier to post 140 characters than it is to come up a couple of paragraphs.

I tweet and fb for work so between monitoring it and remembering to post, I don’t want to do it so much on my personal account. Perhaps I need to balance things better. I think maybe my subconcious is wanting the balance too. The things I want to study would hopefully lead to some blog enhancements. I don’t know if it will necessarily work but I need to try.

Wow. What a babble. I wrote this on my G1 so pardon any crazy spelling errors. My desktop is burning discs at record speed and I just don’t feel like unpacking my laptop. The battery is nearly dead. I suppose there are other computers in the house to use but I am spoiled by my keyboard.

Speaking of other computers. We bought the senior munchkin a laptop for her 16th birthday. She didn’t believe the box when she saw it. She deserves it and can actually use it! Oh, she’s hooked on Doctor Who now. I am not sure if she should be introduced to Torchwood. I should probably space out the geekiness. Right?

Well. That’s it for tonight folks. This has taken a while to compose but it’s not bad. It would seem that my thumbs aren’t as fat as they seem to me!

I’ve been feeling like my skills are becoming out of date. I can’t depend on anyone else to help me, so I have to help myself.

I’m planning on taking some classes in the near future and more than likely, this site will once again become my guinea pig. I hope it does. I’ve neglected it. There are posts going back nearly 13 years in here and I don’t need to abandon ship now. Right? I have to stop using Twitter as a crutch to fill the posts in. I need to start posting. Maybe I should fine myself every time I don’t post three times a week. Start small.

Maybe I just need to start doing more things worth posting about! That could be a good thing.
