My funds keep dropping.
When my husband asks me at 7:30 in the morning whether I’d like to go get furniture, the answer should be a yes. I was tired, so I said I didn’t know. I couldn’t go back to sleep after that. I discussed one little hitch in the plan and then things were settled. We bought/ordered a couch and will pick it up when it arrives in a week or two and we will also swing by to get the bed I have been longing for. I was going to get pictures of the Granemo cabinets we finally bought, but I think I will wait until we get/buy everything.
The kittens will probably get fixed this week. They will then be sent off to hopefully get adopted by lovely families. As much as I would LOVE to have them all to myself, I know we can’t. The goal was for them to be socialized and used to humans. That has happened and now it is time. I expect to be depressed for a few days, but I will have to get over it. Oh great. I’m getting sad just thinking about it. Screw depressed, I’m going to be a flipping wreck.

Dear Noah,
Please send the ark.
-Miftik
A tree fell last night. It was dead, but it still made a big noise and a big mess. Another started to fall, but was thankfully caught by the massive amounts of air potato wrapped trees.
It is still coming down. I’m not sure when it will stop for good. I still haven’t been able to meet my new niece. It has been nothing but pouring rain for three days now.
I’m going to go watch the Olympics. At least it stopped pouring there!

Thar be a new bebe in the family. My newest niece Auriyan was born this afternoon, weighing in at 7 lbs. 7 oz.
I’m going to go meet her tomorrow. Tropical Storm Fay was a little too active for me to get there today.

We’re doing fine on this end. The projected strength of Fay has slowly diminished. The latest projection has it passing over where I will be tomorrow and over my home. I’m just hoping that we end up on the west side of it. The east side of it tends to end up with tornadoes. I could do without a tornado.
Josh’s manager brought home 8oz of Belgian Chocolate. I’m thinking of taking some of it work tomorrow. It will be busy and possibly stressful, so it might be good to have it. I’ve got a stash of popcorn and chips in case we start getting stir crazy. It could happen, even if it is only for four hours.
Olympics time. I think NBC is loving the ratings. Michael Phelps and the mens swim team probably did a lot to help.

I did something bad to my leg at work. It felt like a little marble exploded in my leg and now it hurts to walk. Really not cool and I hope it is temporary.
I’ve been watching the Olympics too much this week. I’m staying up late and it isn’t working out well for my sleep. I’m dragging by the time I get home, but force myself to stay awake to watch the Olympics. It is a terrible cycle, I know.
Ok, the Olympics are on. Time to go.

The kittens went to the vet for the first time today. They have to get spayed and neutered in about two weeks. From what I hear, they were adored at the office. How could you not adore those babies?
Work is still going well. A few unexpected projects that popped up today pushed back my scheduled projects, but it’s all good!
I have the evil princess sitting in one arm, so I am attempting to write this with one hand. Not bad so far. I keep hitting the comma though. OK, she’s licking my hand now. Her cute is killing me.

Josh is currently watching the A-Team on one of the sub channels we get now. When he first turned it on, Rick James was singing. Face showed up and then I remembered something. Face is scheduled to be at Mega-con this year! I’m not sure if that will draw me to it this year, but if anyone from Dr. Who or Torchwood shows up, well you can more than likely count me in!
Work is work. I am keeping busy and not quite insane yet. That’s always a good thing.
My sister in law is due to give birth in about a week. She thinks it might be sooner. My mother is flying up on Monday to see my grandfather (his health is not so good), so we don’t know if she will be here for the birth or not. If she is still there, I guess I will be taking lots of pictures to send to my mom. My sister in law is hoping to have my niece at the hospital close to my work, so that will be nice. The hospital is directly south of my building, so getting there after work shouldn’t be a problem. In any case, things are going to be getting very interesting in the near future.

I forgot to mention in my previous post. I swore pretty loudly at one scene. Only because it brought on a very vivid flashback. It was the scene with Maroni and his ankles. Having fallen straight down from the top of a loft bed, I know first hand how effing painful that is, so I easily multiplied the pain. I still have problems with my ankles, ten years later.

Josh and I just returned from seeing the Dark Knight, finally. I’m glad I waited. There were already enough annoying people in the theater. I am not sure that I would have been able to stand Comic Book Guy loudly pointing out the differences from the comic book. Of which there were a few.
BTW, what is the differenc between GPD and GCPD? Perhaps that was just a costume error.
I enjoyed the movie, but I didn’t think anyone was Academy worthy. I could have had a little more Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman time. I do enjoy those two.
