My VW attempted to runaway on its own today. Yes, I said runaway, on its own! Apparently it rolled down our driveway, turned into the road, backed into the bushes in our front yard and came to rest on the sidewalk. Our neighbor came and told us.

Holy carp.

Exactly.

It didn’t hit anything except the bushes. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

In other news. I’ve got a new kitchen faucet! Josh and I stood in the faucet aisle and eventually narrowed the choices down to four. We finally voted on the Price Pfister Harbor faucet. We wanted one that would work with our filter but unfortunately it still doesn’t work. Wah. We figure that just means we are destined to not use this particular water filter. It looks good. Now of course it wants me to redo the cabinets and counters. I mentioned to Josh about checking at the Habitat for Humanity ReStores for the cabinets or else for his brewing area we will eventually create in the garage. He spotted the bar faucet while we were looking for the kitchen one. I spotted the deep sink that would fit a massive brew pot.

In even cooler news, tomorrow there is a Dead Like Me marathon on Sci-Fi!
