I hate IE. I’ve been working for over an hour and got the script to function across the browsers but now IE is doing some funky crap and making the design look like ass. I think I have a solution, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating!
Oh yeah, I feel miserable too. My throat is killing me and feels like it is closing up on me.

We are home once again. We arrived back last night and spent most of the day getting everything back in order. Our computers are back in their appropriate spots and we have plenty of Sun-Drop soda. AJ managed to get addicted when he was with us up there a few weeks ago. Sun-Drop is so good it is bad!
I’m extremely behind on my blog/journal reading, so pardon me if I am quiet.
I’ve gotten a fair bit of knitting done, but no chance to photograph anything. That would make another project for me to put on my quickly growing list of things to do.
That’s it for now. I am swamped with work that has backed up, so don’t hold your breath waiting for anything new here. Give me a few days.

We made it safely to Josh’s parents’ home. I’m rather cold, but I will survive. Will post later if I can. Brrrr.

Happy 11th birthday to my dear niece Brittany. Now if only we could get her to actually update her site. Silly girl.
I am home, but tired. My grandfather is better, but my grandmother is a different story. It is a story I am too tired to try and tell.
I worked at my mom’s shop today. It was VERY busy. I almost made more than my dad. I tried really hard but he made $35 more than I did. It almost made up for being closed three days!
Oh well. Time for sleep.

I am leaving in about 6 hours to see my grandparents. I will probably be back Monday, but we just don’t know what is going on, so I don’t know. My grandmother is in the hospital and my grandfather is in the room next door having a machine breathe for him.
I’m taking some knitting with me and will just knit as it is the only way I think I will calm myself.

My motherboard died on my computer. Josh is loading up another machine and transferring my files over for me. I am using the laptop for now. Now we are trying to decide what to buy. /sigh
My grandmother is apparently on too many medications and was hallucinating. Not only is she dealing with cancer for a third time, she’s being over medicated for other problems. Thank goodness they fired the one doctor. They would have probably not found out about the cancer until it was too late. Apparently the old doctor kept telling her that the pain she was feeling was arthritis. So she’s in the hospital while they try and get her medicines straightened out.

Part of the reason I haven’t written a lot lately is that I have work projects that are quite time consuming. I’ve almost completed one of them and the other is just beginning. I’m going to be a busy little bee.
Today we found out that my grandmother has lymphoma again. Tomorrow will be her first day of chemo. I’m not too sure on the specifics yet. Yesterday we booked tickets for my mom to fly up on Saturday. At least my mom will be there for the first day after chemo. I’m going to be positive because there is nothing else to do but be positive. My brother and I will be running my mom’s shop until she returns Wednesday. So don’t expect to hear too much from me for the next week or so.
I am going to be searching out some good yarns to knit her a few hats. I may make some things from the Knitty Fall ‘04 surprise which was to support breast cancer awareness.
In other news, I have been feeling selfish. Josh left this morning for a few days and I keep wishing he hadn’t. It has been years since we have been apart over night, much less over multiple nights. I just miss him, especially after finding out about my grandmother. Skittles is being selfish too. She has been sleeping in Josh’s computer chair and sitting by the door. It is pretty sad, but cute.

I’ve watched way too much LazyTown these days. After my sister in law asked me where Sportacus was from (she meant what show, not what country), I did a little searching. Now I am learning everything I ever wanted to know about LazyTown, the cast, and crew. I’ve been studying a lot about Sportacus and Stephanie. AJ wants to be Sportacus for Halloween this year and if they don’t come out with a costume, he wants me to make him one. He wants Shalyn to be Stephanie. /sigh Too cute.
I am mentally preparing a birthday project for one of my sister in law’s June birthday. I think I know how I want to do it but I need to remember to pick up some wires to use for blocking. While it isn’t a complex project, it will be time consuming in the beginning. I will be dying an ungawdly amount of yarn in the same sitting to make sure I keep the color consistent.
Seeing as it has taken me over two hours to compose this post, you can imagine why I haven’t put up my knitting/crafting babble section yet.

I am off to make some green eggs in honor of a great man, Theodor Seuss Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss). He would have been 101 today. The kids wore pajamas and silly hats to school today. Over regular clothes due to the 40°F temperature out this morning.
I will have more relevant entries hopefully soon. There is a lot going on right now that is keeping me busy.
