Stop it!
Someone has signed up for information online using my address. They signed up for information (check cashing brochure, free crest toothpaste samples, and other junk mail) and now I just got a call from Ameriquest asking for this person. The guy from Ameriquest was really nice and even told me that it is a Yahoo! UK email address that he used. I have a cousin who has this person’s name, but he is not in the UK and as far as I know, doesn’t know this address. But if it is him, I have a feeling he will be getting his a$$ reamed by my father who is tired of the crap coming from that general direction.
In other news… I hear that someone is coming in December!!! K, her family, and more cousins. I believe my dad is calling later to find out more, so I will wait until then.
I realized a few days ago that I am actually a size smaller than I was when I graduated high school. However, I am almost three inches taller (I thought I stopped growing, but apparently I didn’t) and my weight is a little more. Go me!
I discovered points.com will convert your airline miles into other things, like gift certificates. I have enough for a ticket, but the rules and restrictions suck and I figure I might as well use them for something I want, before they expire. I also have a ton of points that I can exchange through other programs. In the end I could probably get about $150 or more in Gift Certificates. I’m kind of tempted to buy a dvd burner for my computer. I need a new burner and I might as well get something that I will eventually want. I just don’t know what I want!
Time to get ready for the arrival of the munchkins.

I would be definitely checking out the possibility that someone is stealing your identity. I know this sounds off the wall but with even the slightest bit of info someone can establish credit in your name. Thoroughly check your credit reports, bank statements and credit card statements. Then check your phone records for suspicious activity. I had a foster child who actually stole credit card receipts and sold them to someone in Philly who used them to charge up 100′s of thousands of dollars; after a while she became friendly with a clerk at a local convenience store who gave her credit card info for the mere fee of $5 per “customer”. Her punishment when she was caught…Foster Care.
Since Ameriquest is a lending institution, I’d say the chances are pretty good that someone is trying to do this. If you have the name and number of the person you spoke with at Ameriquest, please give him a call and ask how much information he actually has on you and your husband. Please don’t volunteer the info and if he does have a substantial amount of personal info CALL THE AUTHORITIES.
Even though you may be careful about your personal info, banks, etc. have been known to “pitch” customer information into dumpsters without shredding it first.
I’m praying that I’m wrong and everything is OK.
Big hugs
Mary

Actually, I did find out what Ameriquest had. The guy was really nice and gave it to me.
I’m going to email you in a little bit.
