Well, let’s see, today i’ve seen Spiderman twice, Harry Potter once, and Winnie the Pooh (the original) three times. My nephew came over and hung out all day. He really just wanted to watch parts of the movies but between cleaning and what not, I ended up “watching” a lot of tv today.
Time for bed. Tomorrow is World AIDS Day. Yahoo has a pretty decent resource center going on.
Well, I’m resting. I’ve been hanging out with my nephew all day. He’s talking up a storm and using actual verbs!
Skittles is having fun trying to sneak food from everyone/everyplace.
My mom and I went and did some of that early morning shopping you hear so much about. We went really early because it’s the only time we had to go. Just grabbed what we needed.
My nephew just said he wants “bocky” … Yeah! That’s a first. He loves the evil green stuff. (Josh likes it too, but I don’t) Munchkins crack me up.
Well, turkey day is tomorrow. I’m sure there is something we’ve forgotten, but it’s not a biggie. Josh has gotten his kernel pretty much all settled on his laptop (2.4) and is happy, I think. It could also be the fact that my dad is made the lentils he likes.
The munchkins are coming over tonight (two of the three) and we are going to bake cookies from scratch tonight. We’re going to make icing from scratch too. I haven’t done that in a long time. My conflict for tonight… CSI vs Law and Order. What to watch, what to watch?
Ahhh, we went and got networky stuff for the mean time. I’m on my laptop and very happy.
Skittles got herself another lizard today. At least she’s enjoying herself, as gross as it is.
Saw Chamber of Secrets. It was pretty good. (Note: the movie and trailers = about three hours) Lots of snakes and spiders, so if you don’t like those, don’t go see it!
I miss Josh. /sigh
Josh made it safely back. He’s getting a cab from the airport to our place (soon to be old place). I’m tired, but alive. Been watching the extended version of LoTR.
We made it, not without a TON of F*CKING problems. I’ve been in a very bad mood since two pm. Blown tire, fuel leak, the fun, NOT! We’ve left the truck about three hours away and will go back for it later, once they fix it. I’m sooo pissed off, but I’m too tired to do anything about it. I really need sleep.
Oh, before I forget, Melissa, if you are reading this, do you or Nora want our snowboards and stuff? We can’t really use it here. We’ll email or call you soon.
