I’m so bloody tired and sore. We have so much crap it isn’t even funny. I never realized much paperwork we have. Financial paper work, insurance paperwork etc. I’m happy that I am as organized as I am, because we’d be screwed otherwise.
Josh’s being sick isn’t helping anything. He’s grumpy, moody, and incoherent at times.
Tomorrow we are probably going to start taking the computers down and everything. I’ll probably hook the cable modem to my laptop and have that as our sole access. eek!
Alright, back to packing, uhh, after a little cake.

Sales Agreement signed. It’s really happening folks. We’re going to be moving. tomorrow I go back into the attic. That’s where the real fun begins!
Well, I got lots of loot this birthday. I got my featherbed which is so nice. Hee hee. The bed looks slightly awkward, but it still works for me!
I guess we’ll have to close the windows tonight. It’s getting mighty chilly in here.
Alright, gotta get ready to hang with Hannah Banana.

Well, we had to go away for a few days but things are ok. I mean aside from Josh not feeling well. He wasn’t feeling well before we left, so I guess it’s just kicking in.
Busy as a bee packing once again. I was tired earlier, but just can’t sleep. Thinking too much can be annoying.

Well, Skittles is having fun with the whole packing thing. She’s been playing with boxes or the shredded paper for packing. Josh was having lots of fun today. He played with a roll of fax paper and made 30 foot long shreds of paper. We’ve got even longer rolls. I fear what I will discover tomorrow!
I’ve gone pretty gung-ho today. I have most of the entire bedroom done, the living room and the bathroom. I’m being very neat about this and sorting carefully. I figure we’ll probably leave around the end of the month. We’ll see.

I’m on a packing break. My hands started smelling too much like dust and cardboard boxes, so I figured I’d wash them and have some lunch. I’ve got the living room pretty much done. I swear we have too much crap!
I put Josh on paper shredding duty. We have some old and unuseable books that I was going to trash but then like a lightbulb… I realized I could tear the binding off and shred those puppies. Free packing material! Yippee! He’s almost on a second squished trashbag full. It’s averaging one book per bag which isn’t bad. We’ve got four more books to go. We should be pretty golden then.
Ok, off to get some fud.

It’s freezing in here. Grrr. Josh is still asleep, that’s how cold it was. I’ve just turned on the heat. First time this year. Gotta love the smell of burnt dust in the morning. If freezy pants would get up, then we could go to Dunkin Donuts and get something warm. We’re pretty much out of all things with the “c” word. Ooh, the heat is making him sneeze, he’s up. Yippeee!
We’re on a quest for more boxes today. We’ve got so much crap that last night I filled eight boxes while watching CSI: Miami. side note: I know they are trying to make it different from the original, but the whole awkward lighting thing on the show is starting to get to me.
So good old wil has pretty much summed up my thoughts regarding the vote made last week in this entry. If it was going to be effective and there was really a reason, ok, I understand, but there are definately other things that need to be tackled first!
Ok, time for D&D.

Josh and I went to pick up a birthday present for lil’ Hannah Banana. I don’t really call her that, I just like referring to her that way when I write something. Her party is tomorrow afternoon (it’s Columbus Day holiday).
We listened to Bjork’s Telegram. I had flashbacks to VSU. I believe I bought it when it came out on one of the shopping walks that Calhoun and I used to take to the mall. Bjork was Sunday morning music, Pigface and the like were Saturday morning music. The Nightmare Before Christmas Soundtrack was anytime music! /sigh
Ok, time to do something productive. I’ll balance my checkbook again. I think that might be productive.

I’ve got the JXL vs Elvis: A Little Less Conversation stuck in my head along with a medley of songs from Moulin Rouge.
So Josh and I finally watched Black Hawk Down. I didn’t realize how many known actors were in that film. It was a good film, but I couldn’t watch it more than a few times. It’s too tough on the emotions. At least I think so.
I’d never, ever used a sleep aid until last night. I decided to take some Nytol. With the weather being as fickle as it is my sinuses/allergies have been acting up and I haven’t been able to sleep well. Last night I slept straight until 7:45am! I only woke up then because Josh’s parents were getting up to get ready for the airport. I don’t plan to use them tonight, but that all depends on whether my sinuses calm down enough for me to get to sleep.
Brittany called me tonight and she updated her journal to let me know she finished her book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It’s 752 pages, so it’s taken her a while to read it. I mean she has school and a social life you know! She was a little upset she said. Now she has to read the boring books that they make her read at school. Poor baby!
Shalyn let me know that she couldn’t find the site that Brittany was on that had all of the shoes. I’ll tell you, that kid has one heck of a shoe obsession.
AJ informed me that he wasn’t eating but the fish were fed. He is only two you know. For some reason he didn’t want to talk to Josh. Maybe next time he will.

This year’s “Trick or Treat” supports the effort to eradicate polio globally by 2005.
I’ve got my box, do you?
