I’m tired and I hurt my ankle, as in sprained it. It’s not a bad sprain, but it sure as heck hurts. This also happens to be the ankle that I popped out of place while at Keene. That has totally screwed up said ankle. It bites big time.

Too good
Another link taken from my dear Calhoun. My Cyborg Acronym meaning for M.I.F.T.I.K. is “Mechanical Individual Fabricated for Terran Infiltration and Killing”.
Did I ever mention that my Robot was Al Gore. I have gotten over it. I was a little upset, but I guess it’s not too bad. I can assimilate with the humans.
Pam went and found a ton of name generator memes and got it all over with on her site.
In the morning or so
I’ve got the layout up, now I just have to get the main page done. But I’m frozen and tired. I’m going to go back to sleep.
Take so long
Why does it take so long for me to get the layout you ask? Well, it’s because I’m determined for this site to look as close as possible in both IE and Netscape. Why? Because many of my friends, as well as my husband visit using non IE browsers. But on a happy note. All I have left is to finish the stuff for greymatter and two small pages and I’m done. Even the guestbook is ready to go.
Fahrenheit
I really hope they didn’t suffer too long or at all. Just the picture of the fire is was enough to scare me, then I read the temperatures it reached, 1,000 degrees Celsius (1,800 degrees Fahrenheit).
Getting there
I’m getting there, I really am. For some reason I can’t get my very first entry to archive in neither monthly nor weekly format. It show up as an individual entry, but that’s it. Oh well, I can live.
You can see a few of the changes I’m doing on the pages. I’m working on automating the content for a few things. I want to increase the links section.
Nita made it, safely. Now I must go to sleep.
Well Nita
I should have known. Nita is coming in via Chicago! She’s going to be at least an hour late. Oi Vey. Poor thing.
I’m going to get all of my files together and might just get this layout updated tonight! Yippee
Deductibles
Ugh, deductibles. So, the guy finally came out to give an estimate on the damage. He says I’ll have to pay a $250 dedcutible and that’s about it. Pheew. I feel a bit better about that, but I don’t want to have to deal with another insurance person. I’ll do that tomorrow. Nita can be there for emotional support. We have to pick her up tonight.
I had well and good intentions of uploading the new layout today, of course my insomnia last night and having to move everything so the guy could inspect the walls and cabinet took up most of my day. Oh well. Maybe tonight. Now I remember why I liked being a kid so much. No responsibilities!
Explanation please
Apparently, “I am 77% GOTH.”
Take the GOTH Test at Fuali.com!
Now, Calhoun (whom I once again took this link from) is 78% Goth according to that test. I think it’s just that my outward appearance doesn’t show my true gothicness. Or, something like that, because Calhoun has always appeared more “Goth” than I. Of course I recall the first thing he said to me after, “Can I sit with you?” was “So are you the only Goth here?” Those were the days when I was the “weird” girl on campus. Now I guess I look normal, aside from the big old pink docs. Flashbacks… Calhoun and I would walk to the mall, eat dinner together, sometimes go with Russell… Calhoun would almost get hit by vans that weren’t watching where they were going. Oh the memories… Calhoun, what was that place called? They had those huge texas toast grilled cheeses. Started with a Z or something. I can’t remember.
I should probably try to get some sleep. Of course thanks to Wil, I’m going to have nightmares about the creepy doll in that painting. I think I’m going to wait for the sun to come up and then crawl into bed and make Josh protect me. That would be better.
Skittles is so ticked off that I am awake. Hey, the sun should be up in the next twenty or so minutes. Cool. I think I’ll get about three or four hours of sleep.
