Inspiration

I was looking at some pictures yesterday and one reminded me of a memory from my childhood. I’ve been inspired. I’ve got some pictures of some areas of the middle east. I was even more excited when I discovered the most beautiful photograph of a camel. I had flashbacks with that one ;)

Jamie called me last night. I was shocked to hear from her. So much has gone on in the past few months that I haven’t really talked to anyone other than my family and a few friends who live nearby. She is doing well. Happy newlyweds still. They are in the process of building a new home. It is a planned home, but it sounds nice. I am too picky to ever do that. I already have about 1/2 of our “oneday” home built in my mind. No, I have not picked my palette yet. :)

Skittles would not let me sleep last night. I am so tired and therefore will be heading to bed very soon. I have attempted to keep her awake the entire evening. I am hoping that will help her sleep through the entire night. My mother laughs and says I sound like I have a newborn in the house. I feel like it, except this one won’t be taking care of me when I grow old! I love her, but I need my sleep little kitty.

On a happy/not-happy note, I have found a beautiful notebook for the price I want to pay. It’s a P3 800, with 128MB RAM, 20Gig HD, 8x DVD, 56K Modem, 10/100, 14.1″ and light! Oh, and it’s UNDER $1500. It doesn’t come with all of the crap bundled software that you typically get charged for… so the price is signifigantly reduced. I might even mention it t my father. They have systems with smaller HDs for quite a bit less. To add a DVD to my father’s laptop would run about $400, and for another $400 he can have a kick butt machine. He might be interested, I don’t know. I’ll mention it to him though. I will, I must!
